Spring 2016 Wrapup

Thanks to interest from people like you our Spring 2016 event was a great success. It was mentioned in the Seattle Times, and extended for a week due to popular demand! During our Spring Challenge, it was a photo finish for Roosevelt Elementary's team "The Ridge" vs Blue Heron Middle School's "Herons"! Thanks to your hard work, we accomplished a lot.

In the Spring Challenge for the 2015-2016 academic year we used Riddle Books, which is presently optimized for grades 3 - 7. Students of all levels and grades with an interest in math were welcome, however! Challenge software (the teacher copilot and Riddle Books) is currently limited to our Algebra Challenge events and select times during the year, but with our fall challenge we are hoping to move to a spring and fall schedule!

Our State Story Problem Challenge (an Algebra Challenge event) is a project we would like to expand so that every student around the world may take part if they want to! We are interested in partnering with organizations that can publicize and run Algebra Challenges on a state and country-wide level. If you believe you are in a position to do this, please contact us!
